Delighted with such a great response so far.....Thank You

We just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone so far who have emailed, tweeted, shared or offered in some way to 'get involved'. Next week we are busy meeting lots of great people who want to discuss the different possibilities for Online Marketing in Galway going forward (don't worry it is our aim to keep this non-commercial). So we will make sure to keep everyone up to date once anything becomes official.

Likewise we have been extremely pleased with some of the press that have picked this up, not only jas this raised awareness it has also helped leverage this not-for-profit. This network will be beneficial to the small businesses and marketers in the West of Ireland who simply do not have the time or all the resources to keep up to date of the free or low cost tools that are out there.

We want to make sure that everyone who volunteers is serious about helping the network and can provide relevant help in some way. Whether that been through blog entries (articles), offering there views on different areas within Online Marketing, debating the use of Online Marketing, Raising awareness amongst their own community. We want volunteers!!!.

Like the founder Maricka, you can have a full time jobs and do this outside work hours and at the weekends. Likewise Eimear, who was one of us first volunteers is also in a full time 9 to 5.30 role. In some cases you might be looking for work, why not use this as a medium to keep your marketing brain in action, get creative and raise your profile at the same time. 

In the West of Ireland there are lots of events coming up that us marketeers can try get involved with them, for Online Marketing this is a starting point. With regards to such events please keep an eye on our website, Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter pages - we will announce everything as soon our participation is official.
